Rev 14:4  These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.

These ones that follow the Lamb wherever He goes. Who are they? They are those who have believed in Jesus and who have received His Spirit into their hearts.

Joh 10:3  To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
Joh 10:4  And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.

John is not speaking about some elite group separate from the body of Christ. These ones who are first fruits are the believing ones who follow Jesus for they know their Shepherd’s voice. That is you beloved believer in Jesus.

John also says of these ones that   “And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God.” Rev 14:5

This is of course what Jesus has accomplished for us in His atoning work on the cross. We are without fault and blameless before Him at His appearing or coming…if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end. We have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus…Christ is made unto us holiness and righteousness and wisdom….To say otherwise is to have deceit in our mouth.

The Accuser of the brethren accuses us day and night before the throne of God. God dwells in our heart, and His throne is our heart!! The accusations that come to us take place in the presence of God and Jesus Christ–in our heart!

Rev 12:10  Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.
Rev 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Do not imagine that God is far away somewhere in outer space on a throne. God has no form of His own!!  You are the body that He dwells in–you are His mobile temple here in the wilderness. The accuser comes to you and accuses you in your mind to make you speak words of deceit about God and about yourself.

This is why Paul urges us to be renewed in the spirit of our minds–the deep mind..

Eph 4:23  and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
Eph 4:24  and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

You are the new man created according to God in true righteousness and true holiness. Not false righteousness and false holiness which are based upon keeping the Law. But the righteousness which is from God by faith in Jesus Christ.

Php 3:9  and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

So you see that if these 144,000 in Revelation 14 are in any way a select group–it is only because they are walking in faith in Jesus as their inner life–their holiness and their righteousness.   Many imagine that these 144000 are obedient to Jesus if they are without fault. Yes–but the obedience of faith is what is important here. Works come out of right believing.

What are you saying out of your mouth? Is it inline with what God says about you? Holy, blameless before Him in love, righteous?

Eph 1:4  just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,

1Th 5:23  Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord JesusChrist.
1Th 5:24  He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.

what do you think?
